National Depression Screening Day (NDSD) was a huge success. We far surpassed our goal to reach 100,000 and broke 725,000! Over 13,000 people have already taken the screening, and over 1,200 people have stated that they will seek additional help from a professional. The participants were wonderfully diverse; and we brought together an interesting mix of businesses and organizations to promote NDSD.
NDSD received a significant amount of statewide press via television, radio, and newspaper. There is a compilation of articles on my website, www.ltgov.wisconsin.gov. Just click on the news tab on top of the front page.
