  • Disclosing Your Disability to Your Employer  - Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation. This fact sheet discusses the disclosure of one's disability to an employer. Provides information on how to prepare for disclosure and also when is the best time to disclose your illness.

  • Mental Illness is Not a Full-Time Job - Center for Mental Health Services/Knowledge Exchange Network.  A brief fact sheet discussing equal protection under the law. It also provides guidelines and resources for further information.

  • Jobs Accomodation Network (JAN)  - provides free consultations (online or via phone) for employers, employees, and advocates

Depression and Suicide Prevention

  • Right Direction for Me - Resources about stress and depression for employees.  Right Direction is an effort from the Partnership for Workplace Mental Health, a program of the American Psychiatric Foundation and Employers Health Coalition, Inc., and is supported by Takeda Pharmaceuticals U.S.A., Inc. (TPUSA) and Lundbeck U.S.

  • The Role of Co-Workers in Preventing Suicide in the Workplace - five page hand out on the signs, risk factors, and what to do if you suspect a workworker is considering suicide; Suicide Prevention Resource Center
  • Working Minds - Suicide Prevention Initiative with resources including a toolkit, videos of people sharing their experiences, trainings and education about the facts and risk factors of suicide
