The following are a sampling of the programs available to assist you in obtaining prescription medications at a lower cost

Wisconsin

  • SeniorCare: Wisconsin's Prescription Drug Assistance Program
    • 800-657-2038 (TTY and translations services are available)
    • Wisconsin residents age 65 or older are eligible. There is a $30 annual enrollment fee and out of pocket expenses are based on income, not assets.
  • State of Wisconsin Prescription Drug Resource Center (Website launched by Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle in February 2004. Assists Wisconsin citizens in purchasing medications from Canada via the internet.)
  • ForwardHealth Portal the new Medicaid Management Information System for the state of Wisconsin
